A5 kids worked hard to research about the needs of pets in the library. We tried to find out how we can make a difference to the lives of pets.

We have been talking about animals and where they live at the zoo. We used Maths equipment and built our own enclosures for animals.

What can we do in the library?

A5's Gala Day

In A5 we have been learning about our upcoming School Fair. On Mufti Day we had our own Class Gala because we thought that we should get some practise in.   We worked with a buddy to make posters to advertise our stalls.  Then we sold Marshmallows, Biscuits and Lollipops.  We learnt how to work as a community and swap money for goods.  The very best part of the day was eating everything!

During Mathematics we ordered ourselves from shortest to tallest.

Manvi was the shortest and Ben was the tallest.

New Year, New Look

Welcome to B5's blog.  Over the holidays our blog has had a makeover and we look fresh and ready to learn.  I wonder what new things you will see the next time you visit our blog.  Perhaps you can meet the children in B5!

100th Day Party

On Friday the 12th of July B5 and B4 celebrated 100 days of school.  Together we made crowns to wear on our heads, these said we were 100 Days smarter!
No party is complete without food, so we made jelly and fairy bread.  We even made our own butter! Here are some photos of our fun day.

Stardome

At the end of last term on Thursday the 11th of July B5 went to the Stardome, we learnt about the sun, moon and earth.
